Ratio table , Larrisa 8-17

Legend : blue for questions
red for answers

Part 1 : 1 A) Make a combination using USA coins

B) Make a combination using Canadian coins
and this is what I got :

5 rolls of pennies = 200 coins = $ 2.00
4 roll of nickels = 160 coins = $ 8.00
1 roll of dimes = 50 coins = $ 5.00
1 roll of quarters = 40 coins = $ 10.00
1 roll of loonies = 25 coins = $ 25.00

1 roll of toonies = 25 coins = $ 50.00
$0.01 x 50 = $0.50 ( pennies )
$0.05 x 40 = $2.00 ( nickels )
$0.10 x 50 = $5.00 ( dimes )
$0.25 x 40 = $10.oo ( quarters )
$1.00 x 25 = $25.00 ( loonies )
$2.00 x 25 = $50.00 ( toonies )

For all the nickels , pennies , dimes , quarters , loonies and toonies they would need to be 500 coins and it needs to equal to $ 100.00.

Part 3 : How full is the jar :

The jar is like 75% or 3/4 of the jar .

Larrisa's scribepost for October 12

How much money do the coins add up ?

Mr . Harbeck told us , it added up to 100 $ .

Would the jar look the same if the jar is canadian?

It would look different because US money doesn't
have loonies and toonies .

Three things I know about Graphs :

A bar graph is the best thing to use when you are comparing. It's more easier to understand.

Line Graph : can be used for showing data certain amounts of time.

Pictograph : are best for comparing data , and could be easily counted by using symbols.

What I Learned :

When you want to make the graph misleading you could put brakes.

Larrisa8-17, Four 4's

the similarities: they both equal the same.

the difference : the first one is the normal way which you just write in the division and adding , and the second one is they did it in fraction way.

sorry if the font is big.
